After literally thousands of sauna and cold plunge sessions, we've noticed something interesting. The people who seem to get the most from contrast therapy are rarely the ones pushing themselves the hardest. They're the people who pay attention to how they feel and adapt the experience accordingly.

Contrast therapy combines heat and cold in a way that challenges both the body and nervous system. The sauna promotes circulation and places a controlled demand on the cardiovascular system, while cold water creates a different physiological response, encouraging the body to regulate and adapt.

What we've learned is that there is no perfect temperature, no perfect plunge time and no perfect number of rounds. Stress levels, sleep, recovery and energy can change from day to day, which is why we offer experiences ranging from our coldest plunge at approximately 4°C through to a hot shower at approximately 40°C.

Whether your goal is recovery, stress management or simply taking a break from the demands of everyday life, contrast therapy provides an opportunity to reset and return feeling better than when you arrived.
